ZenBridge was created by Corey and Lisa Krantz, uniting their shared love of bridge, creativity, and connection. Together, they’ve built a fresh, modern approach to teaching that fuses Corey’s deep mastery and renowned teaching style with Lisa’s artistic vision and gift for communication.
A Platinum Life Master and ACBL TAP-Certified Instructor, Corey brings decades of experience and a calm, engaging presence to every table. His ability to make advanced concepts clear—and to make learning genuinely enjoyable—has earned him a loyal following and a reputation as one of bridge’s most admired and engaging modern teachers.
As a newer bridge teacher, Lisa brings a fresh perspective and a deep empathy for beginners—helping new players feel understood, encouraged, and confident. Her creativity and warmth perfectly complement Corey’s clarity and expertise, turning every lesson into an uplifting and joy-filled experience—where learning and laughter go hand in hand.
Through ZenBridge, they teach in person, online, and aboard luxury bridge cruises and land-based academies around the world. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to make bridge accessible, enriching, and joyfully unforgettable for everyone who joins the journey.
Do What You Love
A lifelong strategist, Corey Krantz began playing chess at age five and was captivated by the New York Times bridge column as a child. In his early twenties, he decided to learn bridge—and it quickly became the game that defined his life.
A native of Philadelphia with a Master’s in Finance from Drexel University, Corey eventually left the business world to pursue his true passion full time. He co-owned the Bridge Club of Center City before relocating to South Florida, where his teaching career flourished. Along the way, he even taught his own mother to play, beginning a family legacy of bridge that continues to this day.
As a professional player, Corey has earned top-ten finishes at the North American Bridge Championships and is a sought-after lecturer for the American Bridge Teachers’ Association, where he helps other instructors refine their own teaching methods. What truly sets him apart, though, is his ability to make complex ideas simple—and to make learning bridge as exciting and rewarding as playing it.
